They continue to be awful. I won’t say much about their latest brand of shenanigans, but I will say that if you must look at their twitter account, a trigger warning for rape/sexual assault is most definitely in order.
I don’t deny that animals are mistreated in the meat/factory farming industry, but to compare what they go through to the rape and sexual assault of women is just too much. It’s utterly disgusting and, quite frankly, degrading. But what should we expect from the group that routinely co-opts slavery, anti-Black racism, and the Holocaust for their cause?
PETA is simply a disgusting group and I would not be sad to see them disband for good.
